Regional/Caregiver Health Equity Analysis
To achieve caregiver health equality, all races, cultures, impairments, immigration statuses, and languages must be included and engaged. Public health would chart a strategic course of macro-level improvements to policies, processes, and environments in collaboration with stakeholders from several sectors, including business, healthcare, transportation, housing, libraries and other public services, and the aging network.
These forms of cross-sector collaborations allow public and private resources to be used for the benefit of health and well-being. The focus on structures will improve the equitable distribution of resources, increase the effectiveness of interventions by diverse populations, enable support coordination by reducing fragmentation, and supplement the aging network and other organizations’ delivery of services to individuals.
