Behavioral & Mental Health
Behavioral Health Promotion and Education focuses on people' health-related behaviour in the context of sociocultural institutions, communities, healthcare systems, and family units. Individual health-related behaviours are influenced by and interact with situations in the social, political, cultural, economic, physical, and biological contexts, which is of special importance. The emphasis is on identifying, assessing, and reducing harmful habits while also encouraging positive personal health.
Our emphasis on behavioural & mental health education aims to combine and apply health behavior and social theories and approaches to human health problems. The fundamental topics of the study of health promotion and education include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of interventions with an emphasis on behavioural sociocultural aspects of health.
