Access to approved prenatal and well-child care, infant and maternal mortality prevention, mother and child mental health, newborn screening, child vaccines, child nutrition, and assistance for children with specific health care requirements are all examples of MCH initiatives.
The allocation of financial resources for health-care delivery remains insufficient. Nonetheless, despite clear limits, the government has achieved commendable progress in recent years in lowering post-neonatal mortality. Indeed, the emphasis has shifted to early newborns and perinates. A tremendous increase of MCH services has happened at the sub-district and district levels as a result of several projects.
