Purpose of Position/Summary
• As a Business Development Manager, your focus will be on new business development – sourcing and securing new client relationships for Syra Health. The Business Development Manager will be tasked with establishing direct relationships with public and private hospitals, healthcare systems, health insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies by helping them to solve their healthcare value-based initiatives, medical education needs, and program-level clinical staffing requirements.
Job Expectations
• Drive high volume of new and existing sales activity with a sense of urgency by prospecting by all means including in-person meetings, telephone, email, social media and industry conferences
• Generate high volume of sales leads through timely follow up (targeting 24 hours) and calls into decision makers
• Cultivate relationships with decision makers in client organizations (e.g., CEO, CMO, SVP HR, CFO, brand marketing directors and procurement executives) to secure new business, new client accounts and to maximize the value delivered by Syra Health
• On-going management and development of personal sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, account planning and maintaining account detail in our CRM platform
• Act as a steward for good business and grow the client relationship by ensuring flawless execution
• Act as a trusted advisor to client prospects by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business drivers, organizational imperatives, workforce management challenges and offer solutions utilizing persuasive win themes and effective sales strategies
• Guide the account manager on client preferences and processes in order to successfully fulfill job orders
• Collaborate with marketing department representatives on lead generation strategies and tactics
• Perform other duties and responsibility as assigned
Job Requirements
• BA/BS degree preferred, and previous sales experience is required
• 3-5 year’s experience, including a minimum 2 years of sales experience or the equivalent work experience required in healthcare sector
• 2+ previous healthcare staffing or relevant experience is preferred
• Previous experience in medical communications is preferred
• Proven past multi-million-dollar production in revenue
• Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
